The woman singing in the song is Yvette Delgado, lead singer of the all girl Rock and Alt band, ForeverAmber, and she's gone missing, or so it appears. If you check the ForeverAmber myspace profile, the last entry in the stream is a note to Yvette to contact her producer, which is strange in itself...Yvette hasn't logged in to her accounts since September...

Yvette friended ChuhFahNee back when he was known as Motuphi. For those who don't know, Motuphi (now ChuhFahNee, a phonetic spelling of his last name) is the notorious Metal and Jazz guitarist from Detroit who created his own music genres, Pseudo Punk and Acoustic Pseudo Punk. His real name is Vincent-Nick Ciofani III (yeah the author of those online books from the future and the Devil's Book of Death), an ex-street thug and gang leader, founder of Crack Ho Tours (the tour company that took clients to visit his brothers hoes), turned street-level philanthropist.

Yvette befriended ChuhFahNee during a trying time in his life, when he was going off the deep end over the death of his little singing pomeranian, Foxy Ruse, and was suicidal. Yvette sent mp3s to ChuhFahNee to cheer him up, songs she was working on, one of them was a cut titled "Damn Girl"...

A year goes by and Yvette can't be reached online or by phone anymore...ChuhFahNee, being concerned decided to send her his voice message via mp3 to her own song, but he took it further than that and actually created a Hip-Hop track out of it, fully complimenting all of Yvette's catchy hooks and phrases with his own responses...Now, she just has to hear it.

That's why it's so important to share this song with everyone, especially DJs...Maybe one of them will play the song and Yvette will hear it, where-ever she is, and phone home so ChuhFahNee can stop worrying about her.

So...this song is about a girl, to a girl, using the girl's own song as the primary sample (foundation) for the whole production.

It hasn't gone unobserved that ChuhFahNee didn't use any guest rappers (not even his brothers) on this song and that he did the vocals completely naked, with no effects on them at all, not even standard vibrato; a sign that this was an intimate portrait/message to a friend he loves. No effects on his voice, now that's a refreshing change from any modern rapper! And listen to how cool he sounds when you strip his voice of all that studio wizardry! I, for one, love this. I think he sounds awesome naked.

Notice ChuhFahNee never defiles other artists' songs he samples with foul language and ghetto themes (unless that was already the way the song was), even though he's from the ghetto. He made public comments about keeping the sampled works as tasteful as they were originally presented ("maintaining the creators' standards"), that he can sample his own library of unheard original music for that, in that article interview last year, for anyone who wonders about that.

ChuhFahNee, still Detroit's best kept secret...but it won't stay that way forever...ForeverAmber, where are you?

Mk. Ya'll already know that the greatest rapper ever to live, the greatest rapper of all time, is and always will be Motuphi. No other rapper could ever touch his flow, lyrical content, musical prowess, nor his legend. Motuphi could rap better than any other rapper in the world, before him or after he quit. He could also do various rap styles and characters, filling in for his absent (or jailed) associates on many of his songs in the studio. Motuphi was a prolific Jazz, Rock, and Metal guitarist who could keep you floating with his astounding rhythms and stupefy you with his shredding and dramatic leads. Motuphi wrote various styles of music, ranging from Country and Gospel to Rap, Funk, Jazz, R&B, Metal, Rock, and his own creations, Pseudo Punk and Acoustic Pseudo Punk.

Motuphi was truly the greatest musician (and rapper) ever to come from Detroit since the old Motown days of the Funk Brothers, some of whom hung-out with Motuphi's dad back in the day. But no other Detroit musician is as legendary as Motuphi, who was a gang leader of a small tribe on the east side of Detroit, a pimp, and weed dealer. Motuphi went on to tackle enormous philanthropic efforts like battling pedophilia, genocide, animal cruelty and homelessness.

Motuphi and his wife were last rumored to be trying to build a no-kill animal sanctuary that'd double as a homeless shelter for a select group of people who'd like to staff the place and take care of the animals. Motuphi had a huge burden on his heart for the abandoned family pets being euthanized before their time in animal shelters across the USA. He also had survived homelessness with his wife on the streets of Detroit as a young man and knew that not all homeless people deserved to be homeless.

Motuphi is credited with inspiring many philanthropic efforts that may not've been started without his influence and failed efforts. People decided to pick up his agendas and succeed where he had failed.

Motuphi is also rumored to be the leader of an elite secret female group (army, so to speak) called "Motuphians". His Motuphians proved to be valuable minions to the causes Motuphi had applied his adult life to. Legend has it that Motuphi still occasionally lets his female minions stay with him and his wife, one at a time, to serve as personal assistants, hoes, adult video actresses and sex slaves.

Motuphi also started and ran an alternative tour service in Detroit called "Crack Ho Tours". His service would take clients to hot spots for hookers and let them do their business in the vehicle. It was a good service for Motuphi because he knew the hoes from the decoys, with his brother being an 8-mile pimp and his sister being a Detroit cop at the time. Motuphi was notorious for scaring the crap out of suburban white clients on those occasions when he'd stop to help a broken down gang banger get a stalled car started in the 'hoods of Detroit he frequented. Motuphi saw it as sowing a seed, sharing the agenda of getting the car started with the banger, so it'd come back to him someday when he needed people to share his agendas (like rescuing animals) with him.

Motuphi learned his guitar from the best guitarists Detroit had to offer. He learned Jazz from real Jazz musicians, brothers who'd made it on the radio in Motown's heyday. He learned Metal from the best metal guitarists he could find, like a little Mexican guy named Lupe (Lupi?) Motuphi had done time with in prison. Motuphi could play a variety of instruments, like guitar, Bass, ukulele, sax, and he even played piano as a child.

No other musician from Detroit has ever tried to do so much for so many other entities on Earth. Motuphi was proof, positive, that not all Detroiters and Detroit entertainers are parasitic and self-absorbed. Motuphi fronted and founded many music acts during his long career.

Motuphi was Detroit's best kept secret, because...

Professional jealousy and inferiority complexes on the part of the other Detroit rappers and their fears of being cast back into obscurity if Motuphi was to get discovered...

The other rappers (supposedly) from Detroit who owned labels were so afraid of Motuphi shadowing them (and so professionally jealous of how much greater he could rap) that they tried to act like Motuphi didn't exist, so they never offered their homie (who really was born and raised in the 313) a record deal.

But Motuphi still did okay, thanks to his minions, followers and Motuphians, who saw to it that his DVDs and MP3s sold online. Plus, Motuphi attracted people who cared about his welfare, if he was fed and had good meds (marijuana), so they often donated to his ELMC donate buttons strategically scattered across the ethernet by him, his wife, minions, Motuphians and other followers (and secret supporters).

Motuphi attracted good people, who could be inspired to positive actions, to himself, his agendas, and his media. They were the elite, cream of the crop, the best humans on the planet. While other rapper's fans were busy being self-serving, materialistic, greedy, vandalous, hateful, cyber bullies, bugs, and virus senders; Motuphi's fans were busy trying to build animal sanctuaries, rescue doomed animals, fight pedophilia and homelessness, and initiate positive change. It's easy to influence people to do and act negatively. But Motuphi never took that low road, opting instead to attract and inspire good people that could be reaped from the planet as good fruit worthy of Paradise when the Earth came to its end...

This is what Motuphi is most famous for: Being that reluctant prophet he always denied being...

Ghosts & Hidden Messages In Time Shifts (Drags) In Video?

Perhaps I was wrong. I'm prone to admit it when I am, so: Yeah, I did watch the video again and, yes, it does appear to be more than mere stock footage put behind an audio track. I didn't pay that close attention because I've seen all the images in this video used for other Motuphi videos and I got hypnotized by the song. But, upon further perusal of the video, I do see what looks like the conveyance of a theme throughout the video. I almost don't want to point it out here, just to see how many others notice it and comment on it. But I'll go ahead and forward the findings forwarded to me by a reader and fellow Motuphi fan and follower:
In the video, especially in the second half of the video, you can notice a time drag (backwards) in the video images whenever the keyboards hit that signature 2 chord riff that sounds so ominous. Like, the cab turning the corner becomes blurred and seems to drag in time as it makes the turn. The bus turning towards the end does the same thing, looking like 3 buses making the turn. But it's the same bus, evident from the other images in the video. Where the time drag seems most apparent is in the tunnel (building underpass, whatever), where the tunnel keeps stretching out every time the keyboards hit those chords.
So, my apologies, I was wrong about the video. Motuphi is obviously trying to get something across to his more devoted followers (including the Elect) that has something to do with time. I haven't figured it out yet, because the lyrics to the Rap background track (hooks, sung vocals) are so vague (Rollin' with my God (Yah). Roll in with my God. Roll in, with my God. Rollin' with my God). I peeped the lyrics because Motuphi likes to play with commas and periods to change up the meaning of a repeated sentence to convey a message no one would expect to be in a repeated phrase. The guy is a master at providing hidden messages that can take months, even years, to decipher.
I'll embed the video again in this post for those who don't want to go look for it but would like to check it out. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I must be slipping, I'm sorry.
